The Importance of Cultural Awareness in Tourism
Abstract
Tourism is vital for the success of many economies around the world. There are several benefits of tourism on host destinations. Tourism boosts the revenue of the economy, creates thousands of jobs, develops the infrastructure of a country, and plants a sense of cultural exchange between foreigners and citizens. Many tourists travel to experience the hosting destination’s culture, different traditions, and gastronomy. That`s why we should put a huge emphasis on initiating the cultural awareness of both people with very different kinds of tourism jobs and tourists in order to advance the level of tourism development.
