Abstract

This article is dedicated to the study of the branding of the region as a tool to promote the region in the international tourism market. The concept of the brand of the region, its main objectives, as well as the factors that should be taken into account when creating a brand of the region are considered. Examples of successful and low-income tourist brands from around the world, as well as attempts to create a tourist brand of Kazakhstan and opportunities for its creation are told.
